废名是现代文学史上的一个另类,但是从现代隐逸派和现代隐逸文学的角度来说,他又是一个很好的典范。废名受到周作人的影响加之其自身独特的人生经历,先后两次隐居,是现代隐逸派的忠实实践者。在文学上,他创作的《桃园》、《桥》、《莫须有先生传》等为读者展现了一个桃花源般的田园世界。在废名的小说中,桥、塔、坟等意象都具有隐逸的哲学意蕴。他塑造的人物如小林、莫须有先生、陈聋子等人也是废名隐士人格的外化,是隐士原型的变形。废名的这种语言和审美风格直接影响了沈从文。从周作人到废名,从废名到沈从文,前者对后者产生了深远的影响,而后者又实现了对前者的超越。可以说,废名在现代隐逸派,在周作人、沈从文、汪曾祺之间起到了一个承上启下的作用。 |

Fei Ming is an alternative figure in the history of modern literature, but a good example from the perspectives of modern reclusion and modern reclusive literature. Affected by Zhou zuoren and with his own unique life experience, Fei Ming lived in seclusion twice which made him become a faithful practitioner of modern reclusive genre. In literature, works such as Taoyuan, The Bridge, The Biography of Mr. Mo Xuyou etc. created by Fei Ming provides a pastoral world like The Peach Garden. In Fei Ming's novels, bridge, tower, grave etc. image are endowed with some reclusive philosophical implication, and characters created in his works such as Xiao Lin, Mr. Mo Xuyou and deaf Chen are the externalization of Fei Ming's hermit personality and the deformation of hermit prototype as well. Fei Ming's language and aesthetic style affected directly Shen Congwen. From Zhou Zuoren to Fei Ming, from Fei Ming to Shen Congwen, the former has a far reaching influence on the latter, and the latter has surpassed the former. Fei Ming, as it were, played a transitional role in modern reclusive genre figures, such as Zhou Zuoren, Shen Congwen and Wang Zengqi. |
