| ocabulary teaching is the basis of language teaching, and the meaning and usage of a word can be revealed by its collocation with other words. Language teachers are advised to make full use of the Corpus of Contemporary American English to find out some typical collocations of a word so as to help students understand better its meaning in context and help them as well with their language use in communication with native speakers. |
