| 跨越性是比较文学的学科立场，文学性是比较文学的学科归属。没有跨越，不是比较文学；没有文学研究，也不是比较文学。跨越中留守是比较文学的学科宿命。比较文学要生存和发展，需要学科内外的宽容，只要根在文学，如何跨越，只是视角的不同，应当允许。只要还有人坚守比较文学研究的阵地，比较文学就不会消亡。 |

| Crossing is the characteristic of the discipline perspective of comparative literature while literary is its characteristic of the discipline belongingness. Without crossing, it is not comparative literature; Without literary research，it is not comparative literature，either. Staying in literature while crossing is the fatality of comparative literature as a discipline. The existence and development of comparative literature as a discipline need consciousness of tolerance from in and out of its field. So far as the research foundation is in literature, different perspectives on how to cross should be allowed. As long as people hold the positions of studying in comparative literature, this discipline will not perish. |
